Originally built in Holland in 1928, owners Ute and Uli have converted this Dutch Luxemotor Barge into a passenger Hotel Barge and outfitted Caroline for the comfort of just 6 guests. During your cruise along the Canal du Midi, you will be able to visit medieval villages, local markets, and taste the wonderful wines of the Languedoc. You will also be treated to gourmet delights on board, and have the opportunities to enjoy regional specialties at local restaurants and canal side "auberges".

Cabin Amenities

3 cabins with private bathroom and shower: one double-bed and two twin-bed cabins.

Cabin 1 (132 sq ft) with double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower
Cabin 2 (88 sq ft) and Cabin 3 (98 sq ft) have fixed twin beds with private bathroom across the hall with shower

Amenities On Board

Relaxed atmosphere in the comfortable Salon/Dining Room, and a well-equipped galley-kitchen, featuring built-in sofas, TV with DVD player, wood-burning stove, dining table with seating for six.
The expansive flowered Sun Deck is laid with carpet and provides an "al fresco" dining table, a parasol and four reclining chairs.
Additional Features: Wifi, 8 touring bicycles and air-conditioned minivan for transfers/excursions

Personnel

2 crew/hosts who speak German, Spanish, and English.
Note: Guests should be aware there is a small dog on board who stays in the wheelhouse and captain's quarters.

Food & Wine

3/4 board includes all meals from Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast, except for 3 meals at passenger expense taken ashore at local restaurants; Wine, beer, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages from the bar are all included.

MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
Caroline has no wheelchair access. There are narrow steps leading down from the deck to the salon and cabin area that may be difficult to navigate for people with very limited mobility
