Amaryllis hotel barge

The 8-passenger Amaryllis cruises through some of the most picturesque waterways in France, exploring the Burgundy countryside in exceptional style.

She is a Dutch hull, vintage 1962, converted into the most upscale hotel barge throughout 2001 and welcomed her first passengers in Spring 2002. Designed in conjunction with La Fluviale, a prominent boat company in St. Jean de Losne, she has been decorated by some of the most respected names in France and Italy.

The interior of the barge is traditionally French, with contemporary touches set off by Louis XVI and XV antiques. Settle into the comfortable lounge or linger over dishes cooked by the cordon bleu chef and watch the magical French countryside unfold all around

Amaryllis sleeps up to 8 guests with 6 crew on board. Each state room has been meticulously decorated with a mixture of contemporary and antique Louis XVI and XV furniture, complimented by occasional tables from Li Puma of Florence. The specially designed window casings incorporate huge windows that panoramically frame the passing countryside. On deck, choose to luxuriate in the heated swimming pool as you drift past premier cru vines.

With Amaryllis, you will visit ancient châteaux and follow the wine trail through Beaune.... creating an experience of a lifetime.
