The Hotel Barge Luciole cruises the Nivernais Canal in Burgundy. She was the "first ever" hotel barge, which commenced cruising in 1966. Since then, Luciole has undergone many renovations. The relaxed atmosphere and dedicated crew of 6 create a welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail is apparent as one steps aboard.

Cabin Amenities

Eight cabins which occupy the entire Lower Deck.
Three cabins with twin or double beds, three cabins with twin beds only, all about 107 sq. ft., and two smaller single cabins (67 sq. ft.), all with en suite bathroom and shower.

Amenities On Board

The air-conditioned Salon/Dining Room features big picture windows and combines different mixes of beautiful woods, complemented by traditional and regional fabrics.
Sofas, armchairs, well-stocked bar and dining table with seating for 14, make an excellent area to relax indoors.
Spacious sundeck with umbrellas, reclining chairs and table with seating for 14.
Additional Features: Wifi, 12 touring bicycles and air-conditioned minivan for transfers/excursions

Personnel

6 crew members consisting of Tour Guide, Chef, 2 Housekeepers, Matelot (Sailor), and Captain.

Food & Wine

All meals and alcoholic beverages included.

Luciole Deck Plan

MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
Luciole has no wheelchair access. There are several stairs joining the Lower Deck, Main Deck, and Sun Deck and narrow passageways which may be difficult to navigate for those with extremely limited mobility.
