Shannon Princess, accommodating 10 guests in comfort, is the largest hotel barge to be cruising the River Shannon and its picturesque, intertwining lakes. Her thoughtfully designed interior has panoramic windows, through which you can view the passing scenery, and includes a comfortable saloon, dining area and bar.

Cabin Amenities

Maximum 10 passengers in 5 cabins which can all be configured with either 2 single beds or a double bed.
The 5 cabins, all 130 sq ft each, are stylishly furnished with large opening panoramic windows well above the waterline, and each is air-conditioned, centrally heated, and accompanied by a modern en-suite shower room
Cabin Features: Luggage storage, Built-in closet, Hairdryer and Bath products.

Amenities On Board

The light & airy Saloon features a modern interior with 2 large sofas, 3 armchairs and 2 coffee tables. The dining table seats all 10 passengers at a single sitting and there is a fully stocked bar.
Large picture windows run along 3 sides of the Saloon which is on the same level as the cabins.
Sundeck with Full length upper observation deck with sun loungers, outdoor sofas & chairs and a 5 person Spa pool (hot-tub).

Additional Features: Wi-Fi internet access, 2 Bicycles (more available on request at no extra charge) and an air-conditioned 12 passenger minibus which is used for transfers and excursions

MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
Shannon Princess is all on one level with no steps from the saloon to the cabins.
There are eleven (11) steps from the salon to the outside upper deck and a handrail. There is a smaller Sundeck without any steps.

Most of the daily excursions are on level-ground with no steps to climb and the minibus transfers you to the sites so there is minimal walking. The only excursion that may be slightly difficult is to Cragganown as this has a challenging walk for those who are less mobile and there are some steps involved. You would be very welcome to relax on deck if you prefer not to participate on that excursion.
